Reclaimed Dressed Ragstone

We have 20 tonnes of these kentish dressed ragstone blocks  just arrived in stock. Reclaimed from a Church in Woolwich, they are a premium quality building material.

The first picture shows the blogs in situ before demolition. It shows how the joints of the mortar were enriched by having small pebbles or chips of flint pressed into the mortar whilst green creating a beautiful finish. The technique is called galleting.

The blocks make a superb building material guaranteed to last!
